Timetable

In 2012 I accomplished just over 990km on foot, and a total of 20,500m of uphill stuff. I completed most of the South West Coast Path from Land's End to Minehead, crossed the Somerset levels and passed Bristol, walked two thirds of the Offa's Dyke Path, crossed the West Midlands, and started on the Pennine Way. It was 39 days - mostly enjoyable, but occasionally wet and cold. And I've had excellent company on many days.

The 2013 programme saw me do three sessions on the Pennine Way and a week in the Scottish lowlands to get to Glasgow. It was another 650km, and another 14,400m of climbing. The total was 66 days over the two years.

In 2014 it was the West Highland Way from Milngavie, just North of Glasgow, and then the Great Glen Way from Fort William to Drumnadrochit. It was a relatively short stretch, taking a couple of weeks - and covering some 240km and 4,800 metres of climbing, mostly in the West Highlands.

I finished it all in 2015, with a final 254km and 3,048 metres of climbing. The grand total over the three years was 2,144km and 45,255m of climbing.
